Fine Country Living
At Threepwood there’s more to living than simply owning a home.
Just a few steps from your front door you can take your choice of activities, from relaxing lakeside strolls to serious mountain training, all on the contours of an area that reaches some 600 metres above sea level.
That choice is matched by the variety of outlooks. Walk in any direction across the 200 hectares and you can enjoy mountain views, unending meadowland, rocky crags, stands of tall trees, verdant lakeshore... it’s straight out of a travel brochure.
The local wildlife includes the iconic royal blue and orange pukeko in abundance along with numerous waterfowl.
Another option is to take in the stock and work you can see on the small farm still operating on the land.
And once you’ve enjoyed your exercise, McDowell’s may be a luxury lodge to the rest of Queenstown, but for residents it’s your local and a superb place for refreshments.
