Threepwood farm

Fine Country Living
Farming’s part of the fabric of life at Threepwood, though these days things have been scaled down.
A small portion of the property’s 200 hectares has been retained for a working unit which is run on traditional New Zealand farming methods.
Small herds of cattle and flocks of sheep enjoy a mixture of low-level pastureland near the lake and higher country paddocks on the flanks of Slopehill above The Downs.
The position of the farm and its minimal buildings means residents can enjoy the pastoral idyll when they choose, with none of the inconvenience of intensive, large scale agriculture on their doorsteps.
